Sophie Buerno-Boutellier

Enjoying some of Sophie Buerno-Boutellier's work right now.
Horses Galaxy from 2009

Rive Gauche from 2011

St Tropez from 2010

Responding to the textures on textures and the color palatte is
also really satisfying.

Weatherspoon Art Museum

This piece was mounted low, close to the floor.  Can't remember the artist's name.  Made of canvases, oil and wood.  Wish it was plaster.

Dana Duff's New Currency 1988.  Salt discs and chrome-plated steel bands.

 Sol LeWitt

This was my favorite piece from the show, Scott Richter's Dutch Quiz 1996, made from oil paint and silicone medium.  I don't think my camera was up to he challenge of capturing the colors accurately.
