Gilding and remembering

I saw this mirror in the Design*Sponge entry looking at 

Crissy Poitras and Kyle Topping's house:

It reminded me of all the gilding I saw in Vienna,

although more Art Deco.  Below is a church in

Vienna, Austria.

It adds such authority to a room.

I've spent the last hour looking at old pictures of Fitey Bitey.

Interiors

 Recently I've been attracted to interior lighting.

This house in Kyoto has nice cement panel walls.
